COOPERA

Various arts & crafts cooperating on a mission to uplift our culture. Making hymns & jams into an opera-like series, while contributing to the progress of specific places.

COOPERA is a project in the prenatal stage. Actually it’s before the prenatal stage, I am looking for a few more people with whom this concept will resonate enough to do the next steps.

In my mind it has four ideas:

• Corpus Jamus

• Musical Video Clips 

• Place/Land/Community

• Permaculture Circus

There is a band with 3-5 members at the core, and around it there are more musicians that from time to time accompany the core and jam together - Corpus Jamus. 

From this co-creation there are born tunes & hymns, that are musical ground for more artists, poems, storytelling.

As soons as a plot, idea, tune is ready, we will make a Musical Video Clip. There will be a song or hymn in the center, but as well there will be a story, a problem, a counterpoint that the video will point at. It will be in an Opera or Musical style.

What is important is to help a specific place on Earth. So that the movie is not only a movie, festival not only a festival, but there is a specific place and nature profiting from it. Each clip holds a theme of helping a place & nature, people & animals.

Time to time there is a festival-like event that invites more people, artists, families, co-creators. I like the name Permaculture Circus - as it holds the ideal of various arts & craft. 

Some are performed and some are needed - food, shelter, etc. Also, the gap between the audience and the artistic is blurred together, there are workshops helping anyone to perform.
